Taco Night

This recipe is courtesy of Mrs. Judy Bee (aka the step momma).

We have always called them "turkos" because they are made from turkey.  Judy usually uses turkey thighs (which are really good) but I had to use breast meat because it was all I could find.  It still turned out really good.

Ingredients:
4 lbs. of turkey thighs (or breast)
3 packets of Lawry's taco seasoning
1 can or bottle of beer
Water (enough for half of what the packet says to use)

Put all ingredients in Crock Pot on low and cook all day.

When meat is falling off the bone, take out, let cool,  pull bones out and shred with a fork.  Leave the liquid in the crock pot cooking (skim off any fat).  Put the meat back in and let cook, uncovered, until liquid is absorbed.

Chop up your favorite taco toppings and enjoy :)

Save the left overs by packaging up in individual portions in ziplock bags and freezing.  Just pull them out and microwave for a quick and easy taco night!!

Sneak Peek

The wedding was amazing!  If there were problems, the coordinator didn't let me find out.  I'm pretty sure our guests had a great time and most importantly, Kyle and I had a GREAT time.  He may have even danced a little :-)

L'Auberge Del Mar treated us like complete royalty.  We were upgraded to the presidential suite, which was  definitely not in our contract and we were treated like the king and queen where ever we went in the hotel.  Even the valet guys were congratulating us every time we got the car :-)   They know how to do customer service there.  It almost makes me feel guilty to accept it all, being a person in the service industry myself.

We did a mini, 4 day, Del Mar honeymoon because that's all we had the $$ and the time for (plus we really wanted to get back to our fur baby).  It was perfect.  We can't wait to go back next year for our anniversary.

Obviously, we don't have our professional pictures back yet but one of our guests is an amateur photographer and she took some incredible photos.  They are definitely keeping me satisfied so I don't stalk my photographer.

Wedding Week

Saturday- Rented The Descendants & wrote thank you notes.  I love George Clooney but this movie was kind of sad in a way that you felt like you were watching someone's real life fall apart.

Sunday-  Was screamed at (F Bombs) in the face by a drunken customer.  So sorry we do not offer hot towels Sir.

Monday-  Relaxing dinner and drinks with the Hubs-to-Be @ Tsunami and watched the Kings win the Stanley Cup yayyyy!!

Tuesday-  Frantically ran errands to get the house, the dog, the bridesmaids, the families, the hubs-to-be, not to mention me ready for this weekend.  Then a nice relaxing(?) afternoon with the crazy kids at one job and then straight to the second to be with adults who act like kids.

Wednesday- Only have to go to one job today yay!! And then mani/pedi and last minute packing and getting everything together.  Leaving in the morning for Del Mar!!!

Thursday-  Rehearsal and rehearsal dinner.

Friday- Wedding Day!!!! <3

Bachelorette Party

How funny is my sister?? Gotta love the Bridesmaids the movie re-creation :)
This is us in the airport and I really wish my eyes weren't closed but this was the only picture we got so I had to use it.

Here are some collages of party pictures to basically sum up the weekend:

{ Fun and Games-Panties game & Questions game}

And even though we are old as dirt (in Vegas standards) we still made it to Marquee's Facebook page:
